I'm Signe, a freelance illustrator based in the U.S. I specialize in art for educational materials, including textbooks, web pages, and presentations.

As a visual learner, I've always liked the idea of making science and math concepts easier to understand through art; I try to create art that explains as well as decorates.

Recently, I've been working on activity books and presentations for Environmental Education Exchange, a non-profit organization that teaches environmental literacy through outreach programs in schools. Other clients include Learning A-Z.com, Houghton-Mifflin, Symmetry CP, Pearson Education, and The Flying Lady magazine.
